Why JOKR Designs was started.
JOKR Designs was started by me and my business partner Santiago Delgado. Back in 2018, they started with the idea that they wanted to be able to smoke different types of bongs (waterpipe) while they lived together. They started brainstorming and came across the thought that modular bong has not been improved upon in years. They wanted to build something that was completely unique, easy to use, and still maintained great function. They finally came up with the design that you see in the JOKR Designs Full Waterpipe Kit.
The idea is to have a bong that is always fully customizable. Our design not only allows users to create their own custom bong in seconds but also always for easy cleaning and storing of the bong as well!
We want to give our customers everything! Right now we offered the JOKR Designs Full Waterpipe Kit. This is a bong that can be taken apart in seconds using our patented “screw on, screw off” design. Each piece of glass is attached to a metal ring with epoxy. This allows each piece of glass to be its own piece. Nothing to attach, just screw in and smoke.
Looking at other modular waterpipes at the time we pondered what else we could improve upon. One thing that we had noticed based on personal experience is that when using past versions of modular bongs when you picked them up you must be super careful. The reason being is the bottom part would fall out from under and the whole bong would be ruined. We wanted to fix this and we did with our patented design. The epoxy allows for large weight to be held by each piece. Therefore when the pieces are connected the bong feels as though it is one full piece. No matter where the bong is picked up the pieces will not come undone.
The final and arguably most important feature of all JOKR Designs products is they are all handcrafted in the United States. Each piece is produced by an expert glassblower here in the U.S. to ensure the highest level of quality and integrity with every piece we sell.
